This is RIDICTULOUS, but guess those who mk. these wage laws think it's ok to treat us as third world workers, & so they should be paid the same amounts they think is ok for us!

The cost of living is staggering, how can someone live on $10.50? Doesn't anyone understand or what? Well, the Bible does say there'll always be the poor. But even G_d hears their cries.

I perevsonally think no one can survI've even $10.50 is not enough to survive. Minimum should be $18 to $20

It's almost criminal for waiters/waitresses to only be making $2.13 per hour! That's what I was making way back in 1975 for crying out loud! I love Alan's solution: It's good for workers AND good for the economy.

Can't afford being on disability, don't have a better chance on minimum wage! I'd like the opportunity to further my education & get a job where I could move out of public housing!

Rep. Alan Grayson will deliver this petition to Speaker Boehner's office, demanding a raise in the minimum wage in 2014. Sign your name today.

Petition: "Millions of Americans make the minimum wage, but they can't survive on $7.25. They work forty hours a week, 52 weeks a year, and still struggle to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads. It's time to raise the minimum wage. I support Congressman Alan Grayson's "Catching Up to 1968 Act" to raise the minimum wage to $10.50 per hour, as do more than 100 economists. It's not just the right thing to do - it's the smart thing to do for our economy. We demand a raise in the minimum wage. "
